Banana Melon

Banana Melon has an unusual elongated shape hence the name. Although not considered a musk melon as such it has a stunning musk smell and flavour to it. Sizes vary however in good conditions Banana Melons can become really big, in fact after growing various melons over many years at Glen Seeds we achieved the biggest ones from Banana Melon, which is just as well since it avoid staff of Glen Seeds having to fight over who gets a piece of these tasty melons.

Plants grow easy and produce quick. Many people believe you should place straw or pine needles or something similar underneath the melons when they grow to avoid them rotting, we haven’t ever tried that, our melons always done well without, however it won’t hurt if you do that.
